Scale Warranty and Returns
Buy with confidence, all our scales are backed by a minimum of 12 months to 3 years warranty.
1. What is covered under warranty? Any and all manufacturing defects in either materials or workmanship for Tanita and On Balance products purchased on www.blingin.com.au
2. What does this warranty NOT cover? Any damages caused by misuse, abuse, mishap (including dropping, shocking and overloading the scale), normal deterioration, physical Or liquid damage. Also any minor or resulting damage or loss is not covered.
3. What is the warranty period on my product? 12 months for Tanita and 3 years for On balance.
In an effort to save everyone’s time, effort, energy and money please consider these simple fixes that could alleviate the problem you are having with your scale before starting the warranty process. These are our most common examples of basic warranty returns that would be denied… these should NOT be returned:
*SIMPLY NEEDS NEW BATTERY.
*BATTERIES IMPROPERLY INSERTED.
*SCALE NEEDS TO BE RE-CALIBRATED. Please take the time to calibrate your scale if you are having problems.
*HAS BEEN DAMAGED OR ABUSED. Evidence of rough treatment and water damage are easily identified and not covered.
*CONTAMINATED WITH POTENTIALLY ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES OR LIQUIDS.
I am 100% sure my scale is faulty, how do I start my return process?
